In Blackburn with Darwen Teaching Primary Care Trust we take the proactive management of risks very seriously, aiming to continually improve and establish an effective risk management system that recognizes the importance of managing and minimizing clinical, non-clinical and financial risks while applying any learning proactively and effectively.
The Risk Management Strategy outlines how the Teaching Primary Care Trust (tPCT) engages all staff within the Trust and other individuals in key partner agencies in integrating the Management of Risk into their day to day activities, thereby ensuring that care and treatment of patients is both safe and effective.
