If you use health services in Blackburn with Darwen, we welcome your feedback on how good or otherwise those services are.
Your feedback helps make sure we’re meeting your needs and delivering services you value.
These reports are from surveys which have been carried out over the last 12 months.
Clinical services (treatment room)
All the patients who expressed an opinion felt staff made them feel at ease and felt staff spent an appropriate amount of time with them during their visit
After criticism last quarter about appointment and waiting times we changed our appointment systems. We’re pleased to note that the number of complaints has fallen dramatically this quarter (just three per cent of respondents were critical) and will continue to try and reduce this further.
Specialist nurses for children with complex needs
“They have been very supportive and very caring. We feel that our son is safe in their hands and they take a real interest in his well-being”
“Nothing is too much for them, they always let you know what is going on and where to go or who to ask for if you need any help with anything”.
Community stroke team
97% of participants said they were satisfied with the length of time they had to wait to see a member of our community stroke team after their stroke and would
recommend our service to other stroke survivors.
Health visitors
95% of respondents rated the service overall as either excellent, very good or good. No one rated the service poor or unacceptable. “Very kind health visitors, I like the service,” said one respondent.
