It’s the 20th anniversary of ALW, which celebrates the benefits of learning and encourages adults of all ages and backgrounds to have a go.
NHS North West has launched six learning awards to recognise people who make the health and social care sector work through their own personal development.
The awards are: North West Apprentice of the Year, career progression, skills for life, first steps into employment, supporting learners and volunteer of the year – all in health and social care.
Nomination forms are available from www.ewin.northwest.nhs.uk or by emailing Maria.baccino-butt@skillsforhealth.org or call 0151 482 5678 and must be returned by April 15.
The awards will be presented on Wednesday, May 18 at an event hosted by NHS Northwest and the National Institute for Continuing Adult Education (NIACE).
