A new website which has all the information you need on adult social care has been unveiled.
Your Support Your Choice was set up so people interested in using services could get everything they need to know at the click of a mouse button.
It’s easy to read and easy to understand and cuts down on time searching various different sources.
People who can't use a computer will still be able to get information by contacting the Council.
Councillor Mohammed Khan, executive member for adult social care, said: “Adult social care is such a massive area and there’s plenty of information from different organisations to wade through. It is quite daunting for people.
“This website puts all the information in one place and because it is easy to navigate it means people can get initial advice and guidance quickly.
“It contains all the information people need to make an informed choice and puts them in control.
“This does not mean this will be the only channel where you can go to find about services but it is a perfect first port of call for people.
“We are committed to putting people in control and giving them more choice about their care. This website is just one of the things we are doing to transform adult social care.”
