Colleagues said a fond farewell to Lorna Allard-Williams who has left the Care Trust Plus.
Lorna joined Blackburn with Darwen PCT in 2007 after she was invited to conduct a study into partnership working.
She is leaving the trust to spend more time in Ireland where she lives. She is also considering taking up a role managing the local veterinary practice.
She was presented with a gift by Neil Matthewman who thanked her for being such an asset and a caring colleague.
Lorna said: "I shall miss the people I worked with, many whom I regarded as friends and I hope we'll keep in touch."
