People aged 35 and over are being urged to come along for a free health check.
They are being offered at community venues by the Blackburn with Darwen Care Trust Plus.
Health checks include assessments of high cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar levels.
The checks are open to people aged between 35 and 74 who have a GP in Blackburn with Darwen and have not already been diagnosed with a heart disease, kidney disease or diabetes.
They can help pick up on any risks associated with conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and kidney disease, which can sometimes be prevented by improvements or alterations to lifestyles.
Anyone interested in having a health check should attend on the following dates or call 0800 917 6072 to book an appointment.
