If you’re heading to Ewood Park to see Rovers this Saturday, why not go with a ‘healthy mind and body’?
Blackburn Rovers Community Trust is putting on a ‘Time To Change’ healthy mind and body match day road show outside the Jack Walker Stand, ahead of the Premier League match with Newcastle.
The event, delivered in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Council, NHS Blackburn with Darwen and other organisations is designed to promote the awareness of male mental health and wellbeing issues.
You will be able to get a health check and there will be various stalls with information on eating and drinking sensibly, knowing your emotional health, stress busting and relaxation and others focussed on the prevention of mental health and wellbeing problems and their early detection and treatment.
Health trainers will be on hand, there will be remedial massage and a football skills challenge from 12.30pm-2.30pm.
You will also be able to sign up for free Re:Fresh membership.
Volunteers will be raising awareness by going into local pubs before the event.
The road show will take place from 12-3pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
