NHS Blackburn with Darwen is calling for local people to have a say about how it is performing.
The organisation is asking local residents and its own staff to take part in a number of exercises to rate its performance.
Questions will be asked in different categories with the intention of achieving four main goals:
- Better health outcomes for all
- Improved patient access and experience
- Empowered, engaged and included staff
- Inclusive leadership at all levels
A survey is now online aimed at the public which covers the first two goals at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/KHZFG6Z
People can give ratings in various categories which will help the organisation to see whether it will eventually be graded as: purple (excelling), green(achieving), amber (developing), or red (underdeveloped.)
NHS organisations across the whole of Lancashire and Cumbria will be taking part in the exercise.
There will also be a half day grading workshop on March 12 at the Northgate Suite at King George’s Hall, Blackburn. To book a place download the attached form or contact Julie Wall on: (01254 282006)
Ratings will help the organisation determine its future priorities. Results will be published on April 6.
