It is Ask Your Pharmacist Week this week (8-14 November 2010).
Ask Your Pharmacist is the National Pharmacy Association’s campaign to highlight the advice, support and services provided through community pharmacy. The theme of AYP Week 2010 is Pharmacy on the Frontline, focusing on the role pharmacy plays at the heart of communities and as a front line provider of healthcare.
A new National Pharmacy Association survey confirms that while most people go first to pharmacies to get treatment for headaches, cough and colds, many don’t know about the range of other healthcare services on their doorstep in pharmacies.
