Rakehead Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (RCNT) is based at Rakehead Rehabilitation Centre (RRC) at Burnley General Hospital. RRC is an in-patient facility offering rehabilitation for people with neurological problems.
It is a community team consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and Speech and Language Therapy who are experienced in the rehabilitation of people with complex neurological problems.
The team offer neuro-rehabilitation in the community of East Lancashire (Burnley, Pendle & Rossendale, Hyndburn & Ribble Valley, Blackburn with Darwen).
They will see patients over the age of 16 who have a neurological condition and require the input of a specialist multi-disciplinary team.
