Blackburn with Darwen's GP Consortium needs a new name and GPs are being asked for their suggestions.
The name must include Blackburn with Darwen but it is preferred that it will not include the word consortium.
Chris Clayton, chair of the executive board, says he wants the new name to be accessible and easy to understandable.
"We want the public to be engaged in our new way of working and for that to happen we need them to understand who we are.
"I want us to move away from the names such as Trust or Consortium, which people don't understand and just create an 'us and them' culture.
"All and any suggestions are welcome, the more the merrier."
