• Health Care Acquired Infections – report presented on community figures – only 2 cases of MRSA during the past year.  No cases of Clostridium Difficile reported in December.
• Dental Appraisal report presented and scheme supported but not the continuation of the funding element.
• Prescribing Data – trends highlighted in prescribing of Glitazones over the last 12 months.  Discussion held re future of medicines management co-ordinators.
• Best practice guidelines for transferring patient identifiable clinical information to be circulated to all providers.
• Principles of Commissioning Health & Health Care – update given on progress with policy development.
• Chronic Kidney Disease profiles presented and variable achievement noted in QOF reporting.
• Association of Public Health Observatories – introduction given on GP profiles.
• NICE Guidance for November and December presented for information.
• Minutes presented for information and noting from – Pennine Lancashire NICE Group – October & November; Medicines Management Board October & November; Contractor Services Panel November.
