Everyone involved in the conduct of clinical research must have training to ensure they are best prepared to carry out their duties according to the Research Governance Framework.
A half day session covering the key principles of good clinical practice and to prepare staff for research within a primary care setting is taking place on Friday, January 13 at the North Lancashire PCT Offices in Lancaster. It will run from 9.15-12.45pm.
In addition, a training day aimed at primary care research practitioners involved in the day to day management of research studies on the NIHR portfolio.
It will include presentations, reviews of example documentation and various training scenarios.
The training will take place at the North Lancashire PCT Offices on Friday, January 27 from 9.15-4.30pm.
