The North West Region National Obesity Forum (NOF) is hosting a training day at Salford Royal Hospital on Tuesday February 1, 2011.
NOF chair Dr John New and colleagues have developed the session to inform other medical professionals of the best ways to tackle obesity in the UK.
GPs, practice nurses, dieticians, physiotherapists, hospital doctors, hospital nurses, psychologists and those in public health are all welcome to attend the event.
The NOF provides a network for health professionals and aims to hold two meetings per year in the North West.
Places are free but limited and on a first come, first served basis.
