PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) is a confidential service introduced across the country. PALS aims to:
provide information on NHS services
advise and support patients, their families and carers
listen to worries, suggestions or queries
help sort out issues quickly and effectively
refer people to specific local or national-based support agencies
support the CTP by providing feedback from patients so that this can be used to affect and influence planning and delivery
PALS will not replace the existing complaints system. Everyone has the right to make a complaint and if you feel you wish to do so please click here .

If you want to be more actively involved you could join the following:-
PALS Focus Group
This is a small group of people who meet informally three or four times a year.
It's a chance for you to be involved in our plans for the future and have your say.
Readers Group
When new leaflets or posters are being designed for different services it is really helpful if people can let us know whether they are easy to read.
We will send draft information to you - all you have to do is add your comments and return it to us in the pre-paid envelope.
