Welcome to the webpages of the Joint Staff Diversity Networks of NHS Blackburn with Darwen and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.
Staff Network groups provide an opportunity for staff who share one or more aspects of their identity, such as gender , sexual orientation, race or disability to engage with the organisations about service or employment issues and communicate and network and support each other
The Staff Networks will initialy comprise of Lesbian, Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT), Black Minority & Ethnic(BME) and Disabled groups with future plans to develop more focusing on issues of Age and Religion and Belief.
The groups will provide an excellent opportunity for staff to shape the way services are provided to ensure they address different needs for different communities through regular meetings and / or through online forums.
